Week 24
Week of May 17th:
The Contractor continued with 16-inch water main construction at the Spring Street & Webster Avenue intersection and continued southerly up Spring Street towards Muskegon Avenue. 24-inch storm sewer construction also took place in the Webster Avenue intersection. The Webster Avenue intersection is the lowest point elevation wise in the area so groundwater, existing utilities, underlying woody debris, and overall work conditions make this area difficult for expedient utility construction.

Upcoming the Week of May 24th:
JMC will look to get the water main pressure tested and bacterial tested to ensure conformance. Once the water main has passed all testing protocols, the final connections will be made to put the new main into operational service. Remaining storm sewer work is also anticipated to get completed next week.
