Transportation and Utilities Specialist
Mr. Morris is a transportation and utilities specialist focusing on the design and construction of infrastructure improvements for public agencies. A skilled engineer, his typical projects involve road improvements, ADA compliance, non-motorized pathways, water distribution systems, sanitary sewers, and drainage systems. He began his career with Eng., Inc. in 2007 as a Field Technician and Construction Manager, learning the craft from the ground up. Building on this solid foundation Mr. Morris progressed into detailed design, earned his PE, and has worked on infrastructure improvement projects for Eaton, Ingham and Clinton counties, and the cities of Lansing, Grand Ledge, Owosso and Muskegon.
Mr. Morris earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University. Recently elected to the Eng., Inc. Board of Directors in 2019, Mr. Morris is now a majority partner and corporate Vice President. Having started his career as a technician, he recognizes the importance and value of mentorship and is an active leader at Eng.
