Week 30 Update

Work Completed the Week of June 28:

JMC finished placement of the aggregate base course on Monday and Tuesday in preparation of placement of the concrete curb and gutter on Wednesday and Thursday.  Martin J. Concrete was on site with the curb machine on Wednesday and  completed all of the straight line curb placement.  The crews performed concrete hand work on the radius’ Thursday.  JMC then focused on grading the intersections of  Muskegon and Webster Avenue.

API was on site Friday morning to pave the leveling course of asphalt and the intersections were temporarily opened up for the long holiday weekend.

Work Upcoming the Week of July 5:

JMC will continue to fine grade the aggregate in preparation of paving operations on the remainder of Spring Street.  We also anticipate that concrete work will continue for concrete sidewalk and driveway approaches.

Work has been added to Rehabilitate Yuba Street from Eastern Avenue to just south of Giddings Avenue.  JMC will be looking to start this work in the very near future as well.
