Week 8

Work Completed the Week of June 28:

The Contractor (BEI) focused on water main testing at the beginning of the week.  The pressure testing of the water main passed without any issues.  We are currently awaiting results of the bacteriological testing of the new water main so that final connections can be completed.

The remainder of the week BEI began preparing the roadway for surface restoration, including concrete curb and gutter and asphalt paving.

Upcoming the Week of July 5:

Due to the heavy commercial corridor of this area, BEI is tentatively intending to make final water main connections overnight (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) on Thursday night into Friday morning to avoid any potential disruptions to water service for this area.  This is tentative and contingent upon passing bacterial testing.
