Eng., Inc. was founded in 1992 in Lansing, MI. After 30 years and the opening of 2 additional offices in Grand Haven and Grand Rapids, we have greatly expanded our service offerings and client base.

Ryan graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. In his twenty years with Eng., Inc. Ryan he has gained extensive experience in the design and construction of road and utility projects throughout Michigan.
Beginning his career in our Lansing, MI office he quickly became the lead design engineer on municipal engineering projects including road improvements, bike paths, water distribution systems, sanitary sewers, and drainage systems. In 2017, he became the manager of our first branch office in Grand Haven, MI while performing all QA/QC reviews companywide on municipal projects. In 2019, Mr. McEnhill became a Principal Partner at Eng., Inc. and currently serves as its President.
Erik graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a skilled, detailed municipal engineer. He has extensive experience with design and construction of roadway reconstruction projects, ADA compliant sidewalks and ramps, is proficient in the use of “FieldManager” software and has served many years as an MDOT Certified Office Technician. With his depth of experience, Mr. Morris is an effective and highly respected Project Manager. Mr. Morris is a Principal Partner at Eng. and currently serves as its Vice President.
As Senior CAD Technician, Steve Mayes directs and coordinates the production of computer-assisted documents required to illustrate the design and detail created by professional personnel. His experience includes the drafting of road plans, water distribution systems, storm sewer systems, wastewater collection and treatment facilities, topographic and boundary surveys, site plans and similar drawings utilized for physical improvements. Mr. Mayes also assists with computer network administration and assures the compatibility of systems both internally and with our clients. In the constantly changing software environment, dependability of equipment is key to maintaining client satisfaction. His duties include maintaining CAD standards consistent with specific client requirements. Mr. Mayes is knowledgeable in MDOT, AASHTO and ADA standards
Mike graduated from Ferris State College with a Bachelor of Science in Land Surveying. He is the Survey Manager responsible for topographic surveys for municipal, county, and private projects. Mr. Gazella has over 40 years of experience in the Civil Engineering and Land Surveying professions. His primary role as an engineer has been in the detailed design of municipal infrastructure projects including sanitary and storm water systems, water transmission and distribution systems, and street and road improvement projects. As a Project Surveyor, Mr. Gazella has extensive experience with land, topographic, control, and construction surveys
Joe graduated from Calvin College with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a Project Manager with exceptional experience in a broad range of
municipal projects including design of roadway, parking lots, sanitary sewer, water main, stormwater systems, and permitting on all levels. He is a great communicator and adept in design and analysis of municipal projects. He is adept in design and analysis of stormwater systems for roadways, commercial and residential developments, and County Drains. Additionally, he is proficient in floodplain analysis and mapping, stormwater feasibility, master plan studies, developing Stormwater Asset Management Plans for SAW grants, and performing Mass Flow Monitoring to determine locations of inflow and infiltration in wastewater systems. Eng. relies on Mr. Westerbeke’s talent and specialty in all engineering services. His work demonstrates the efficiency, knowledge, and attention to detail that validates the confidence Eng. has placed in his performance.
Stephanie Whitney holds Associates of Science Degrees in Physics & Engineering and Biology and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering in May of 2020. Along with her formal education, Ms. Whitney has spent her summers gaining additional experience as a Superintendent Intern at Clark Construction Company, and a Project Management Intern at Trane Corporation. At Eng., Ms. Whitney has successfully demonstrated her communication, design, and project management skills
Christopher graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. As a Project Engineer, Chris has applied an impressive understanding of the scope of complex problems to his innovative design solutions. As an MDOT Certified Office Technician and experienced field technician, Mr. Harrington is fully qualified and capable of conducting construction inspection services on a variety of types of projects. His experience in materials testing, including asphalt, concrete and soils, is a valuable resource for road projects especially. Coupled with his strong work ethic and eagerness to build productive relationships with both owners and contractors, Mr. Harrington has become an exceptionally valuable project engineer.
